HerdMaster runs on iPhone and iPad and is available on the App Store.

Download HerdMaster from the App Store and follow the age-eligibility and account setup steps. Account holders must be at least 18. A person age 13 through 17 may use HerdMaster only through an account created and maintained by their parent or legal guardian, using the adult's own email and credentials. Children under 13 may not use the app. Complete email verification and the required account checks before adding or importing your herd.

Yes, and the free version has no time limit. Up to 10 animals (lifetime total).

Evans XML (recommended), with Evans HTM and text-based PDF as fallbacks. Evans XML and Evans HTM both require Breeder or Show Breeder. Everbreed Animals CSV and Litters CSV on a Breeder or Show Breeder plan, a public Everbreed pedigree link, and manual entry.

An Evans XML import brings animals, winnings, and litters across in one pass and fills pedigrees showing the animal plus three ancestor generations, so you're not retyping ancestors.

Evans XML is the primary and recommended import path. Evans HTM and Evans text-based PDF pedigree import are fallbacks for older exports when XML is unavailable. PDF import supports text-based PDFs only, not scanned or image-only PDFs. Evans XML and Evans HTM both require Breeder or Show Breeder. Evans text-based PDF import requires Show Breeder.

Imports are designed to reduce duplicates: Imports match incoming animals to existing records, let you review conflicts before saving, and roll back if a save fails.

HerdMaster imports Everbreed Animals CSV and Litters CSV exports for rabbits and cavies. Select the species before importing. Both CSV imports require a Breeder or Show Breeder plan. We recommend importing Animals CSV first, then Litters CSV. A litter row imports only when its sire and dam uniquely match existing animal records; rows with missing or ambiguous parent matches are skipped.

With an internet connection and a valid public Everbreed pedigree link, you can import one subject animal into Herd, with the ancestors visible on that pedigree saved as inactive, pedigree-only records. This works on any plan within its normal animal limits. The link does not import unrelated herd animals, litters, breeding history, health records, or tasks. These import options do not provide complete Everbreed account migration.

Creating an account and signing in require an internet connection. After sign-in and completion of any required account checks, you can work with locally stored herd records offline. Online features, including email verification, Everbreed public-link import, and purchases, require an internet connection. The limited iCloud sync pilot is temporarily paused and is not currently available.

Your herd records are stored on your iPhone or iPad. The iCloud sync pilot is temporarily paused, so HerdMaster is not currently syncing herd records through the pilot. If you used iCloud sync before the pause, previously synchronized herd data may remain in the dedicated HerdMaster record zone in your private iCloud database; the pause itself does not delete or alter that CloudKit data or the herd stored locally on your device. HerdMaster separately processes account, sign-in, subscription and other limited account-linked records described in the Privacy Policy.

Yes. In the app, go to Profile > Profile > Delete Account. The app explains what is deleted before you confirm. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep and for how long.

One time, nonrenewing purchase. Lifetime means access to the selected HerdMaster tier for the lifetime of the HerdMaster product or service. It does not mean your lifetime and does not guarantee that HerdMaster will operate indefinitely.

Yes. Breeder and Show Breeder monthly and annual plans include a 14-day free trial for eligible customers, then renew at the price shown unless you cancel through Apple. Lifetime plans have no trial. There is also a free tier with no time limit.

Your existing herd records stay in the app. Adding animals becomes subject to the free Hobby limit of 10 animals created over the account's lifetime. Deleting or archiving an animal does not free a slot.

You send payment requests through Venmo or PayPal and record the status yourself. HerdMaster does not process cards in-app.
