One buck breeds many does, so HerdMaster organizes breedings the way a rabbitry actually runs: by doe. Pair a sire and dam, and the whole timeline builds itself.

  • The full timeline. Palpation windows, nest box timing, and expected kindle dates, all from one breeding date.
  • Moon phase calendar. Breeders who plan by the moon get the phases built right into the picker.
  • Duplicate detection. Get flagged before a duplicate breeding slips into the records.
  • History that follows the doe. Past breedings and status updates stay right on her record.
04 · Litters & Kit Tracking

From the nest box to a permanent record.

Log the litter the day it arrives, then track every kit through weaning: counts, sexes, and outcomes stay current without a paper tally in the barn.

  • Full litter records. Born dates and kit counts, with alive, deceased, and culled tracked separately, including cull reasons.
  • Show-quality designations. Mark the keepers early and watch the promising ones develop.
  • Weaning summaries. A clean summary of the litter when it leaves the nest box.
